Hiking in the foothills of the Long Range Mountains, the last arm of the International Appalachian Chain, is particularly rewarding experience.

The paths are quite passable and the ascents require minimal exertion. More importantly, however, are the wonderful views and the opportunity to experience wildlife in their habitat, unique geological formations witnessed nowhere else in the world, and the great variety of native plants and flowers of Newfoundland.

Locations and estimated time required for completion can vary, and most hikes require a short drive through the beautiful Humber Valley. Visitors can choose from guided or self guided hiking options. Consult with our staff for next hiking journey.
